Dystopian Surveillance World | Opening Sequence for Afternoon Frenzy in Old Junk Town
Dystopian Surveillance World | Opening Sequence for Afternoon Frenzy in Old Junk Town

This project was created in April 2024 for the opening sequence of my sophomore studio film, Afternoon Frenzy in Old Junk Town.

The sequence was designed to establish a dystopian world shaped by constant surveillance, using railroad crossing signals, CCTV cameras, weathered signage, posters, and industrial elements to create an atmosphere of control, paranoia, and decay. I wanted the opening visuals to communicate the political and emotional tone of the film before any main character appears.

In addition to the environment modeling and texturing, I also developed supporting graphic worldbuilding elements such as propaganda posters, road signs, wanted notices, and newspaper layouts to reinforce the setting.
